  • angle of inclination relative to the horizon, method of installing photocells (on the roof, on the ground, rotary trackers);
  • time of day, time of year, etc.

Often they are installed in remote areas, if the cost of a separate power line branch is comparable to the cost of installing a solar power plant. A feature of this type of station is batteries for energy storage, as well as an uninterruptible power supply system. Hybrid solar power plants combine all the advantages of stand-alone and networked power plants: an electric power storage system with connection to an external network.

Thus, a solar station of 20 kW network type consists of the following set of equipment:

  1. Photovoltaic cells;
  2. Structures and accessories for the installation of panels;
  3. Grid inverter 20000 W for converting DC to AC;
  4. Switchboard with automatic current protection, controllers, circuit breakers;
  5. Bidirectional meter for accounting of energy in two directions (sold and received from RES);

Network SES for own consumption contain all the same elements with the exception of a bidirectional meter. Instead, a Smart Meter controller is used, which blocks the operation of the panels and prevents the current generated by them from entering the general network. Autonomous and hybrid solar power plants will cost much more, because batteries and an uninterruptible power supply add another 40-50 percent to the cost.
